Associate Director for Student Conduct
Ennis McCrery serves as the associate director for Student Conduct. In this role, she leads case management for the office and works closely with the institution's chief conduct officer to provide departmental leadership. McCrery holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Virginia Tech.
Previously, she served as Senior Title IX investigator and Gender-Based Violence Prevention Specialist at Virginia Tech. McCrery also served as the Graduate Student Ombudsperson at Virginia Tech and Communications Manager for the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute. She also teaches as an adjunct instructor in the university's department of English.
McCrery received mediation training from the Social Justice Mediation Institute and Civil Rights Investigator Certification training from ATIXA. She is currently a member of the Assocation for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) and the American College Personnel Assocation (ACPA). She serves on the editorial team for About Campus, a bimonthly publication for educators who want to examine contemporary issues, policies, and practices that influence student learning in higher education.
